Maddy Featherstone

Senior Associate, Ending the Epidemics

Maddy Featherstone is a senior associate at the ACTION Secretariat leading the Ending the Epidemics portfolio. She is passionate about global human security and has experience working and volunteering in international education and refugee resettlement. While pursuing her Master’s degree, Maddy was a student consultant at Search for Common Ground. She conducted research on conflict dynamics and peacebuilding opportunities in the Northern Triangle in order to aid the organization in establishing a new conflict geography according to its ten-year strategic plan. As someone living with type1 diabetes, Maddy is driven not only by her desire to increase quality of life for others, but also by her deeply personal connection to healthcare advocacy.

Maddy speaks English and French and holds an MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University and a dual BA in Applied Linguistics and African and African American studies from the University at Buffalo.
