Rosemary Mburu

Executive Director, WACI Health

Ms. Rosemary W. Mburu is the executive director for WACI Health, formerly known as World AIDS Campaign International. She has over 12 years of international experience in areas of public health research, programming, and advocacy. Rosemary is a civil society organizer who has extensively worked on building and strengthening civil society networks and platforms on health-related advocacy and campaigning in Africa. Her current role involves policy analysis, advocacy and civil society organizing towards a united African civil society voice and action to influence political decisions towards ending AIDS among other life-threatening epidemics and improving health for all in Africa. Rosemary holds a Master’s in Public Health from Ohio University; a Master’s in Business Administration from Frostburg State University, Maryland; and a Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University, Kenya.
